i feel terrible. seriously, i do, and i don't know why either.
maybe it's the fact that i worked full shift today and had to deal with loads of rude and uncivilised people who assume i'm the information counter and the chocolates surrounding me are just part of counter's design because the way they ask me for directions, it's as though i owe it to them to give them an answer, and if i really don't know, they give me the what the fuck kind of face like hello? just cos i work at harbourfront doesn't mean i know every single nitty gritty fuck about it ok. e.g. just cos you have a dick/vagina doesn't mean you know everything about it ok e.g. circumference, width, length blah blah blah
or maybe it's the fact that i had to cab back too because i was so tired and drained and people tried to cut my queue. best part? i queued for urm let's see an hour when i could have bus-ed back in 20 min and i paid like 20 times my bus fare (great, just great isn't it)
or it also could be that i just gulped down 1.5l of ice mountain at one shot, have severe headache, predict that one will have to wake up maybe 5-6 times during night to clear bowels and thus have interrupted sleep which is so not good cos one has to work morning shift tomorrow (sigh)
on a slightly happier note, one feels slighty happier and cheered up because:
one finished "we need to talk about kevin" by lionel shriver which is a super duper good book. and one bought yet another book and you won't believe it. it's a book i've actually read before and it's harry potter and the half blood prince cos one couldn't find anyone else who has it and one has to gear up and refresh one's memory for the final book (and no, one will not lend it to you :) try again next time!)
one has stuffed oneself with countless amounts of chocolates today, feels incredibly fat but at the same time, incredibly satisfied cos chocolates = happy endorphins! yay!
one wasn't alone to endure 9 hours of pure torture cos em came down and spent time with me and we were happy hitting each other non-stop and watching stupid people "eat" the pebbles on display simply because they're stupid enough to assume they're chocs -_-
