was supposed to meet jillyanthebarneysiow today but as usual, what's new, got pangseh-ed and therefore left planless and alone. decided to sulk my way to the market (which is only 2 bus stops away) and accomplish one of the top things on my to-do-list (which has been there for eons). fringe cut!
walked into some random ulu shop and left the fate of my fringe (which is just about the most important element of my hair) to some aunty who had wayang show on tv, with no one else in shop, and curlers in her hair and the steam machine above her head, giggling to herself and asking me to take a seat while she remained glued to the screen.
turns out hair cut was not too bad, aunty was entertaining enough, and best of all, she only charged me TWO FRIGGIN BUCKS for fringe cut. how cheapskate can i get man. haha.
the initial plan was to head to the lib alone but then xiuli, being nice, decided to join me there since i forgot to bring my lib card. turns out, didn't end up borrowing anything and we went to scout for bubble tea before settling down at macs to attempt to watch evan almighty (a very pirated version) on her newly bought ibook. eventually gave up 10 minutes into the show due to constant blackouts due to people walking to and fro.
imm laters, we both bought adidas caps (surprise surprise) couldn't resist cos the pink is too pretty. had dinner laters and then it was home sweet home. super tired cos the heat consumes my energy quadripled the rate.
p/s: hostel 2 tops the list of my grossest shows evar!
