HELLO HELLOOOOO PINK SONY VAIO! the impossible has become a reality! will be getting it in 3 days since parents have already booked it so hurrah! no turning back now!

so since miracles still do exist, all will be forgiven today and that includes prata pangseh-ing me about outing today, which means one is left with no plans and had to stay at home the ENTIRE day (for me that means a lot as i will be subject to mental and physical torture okay).

with no plans, and a very bad flu, and no mood to head down to bugis to collect jellies, one called gabe and got him to collect it for me (miracle number 2. THANKS LOTS!) so one decided to cheer oneself up by baking choc oatmeal cookies which in one's opinion, is very nice okay, all smiling happily back at me on the tray a shade of golden brown (with that, i smiled back). lol, i sound mad, but it must be due to aftermath of clarinase. flu medicines causes hallucinations, there you have it, your cheap alternative and easy source of drugs.

jethro rang from aussie today (miracle number 3 since it is so damn random) and it's nice to know that we're living totally opposite lives. e.g. it's winter there and it's almost drought here, nice to know we're not the only ones suffering over here. oh and my new maid came today so one does not have to drown in general permanent disarray of room. i think maid, her name is ruma (very indian sounding) likes me very much (either that or she's generally fascinated with white people) as she kept talking to me while i was making cookies. one was not used to it cos one has not talked to one's maids in very very long time except for things like "umbrella and plastic bag please" and when one needs help in locating one's clothes.

will be doing full shift tomorrow and one is glad one has half of book left to accompany me. very difficult book to read and i almost gave up in the start (could this be due to brain inactivity? gah!) but nevertheless, psychotic and weirdly enchanting. my type of book.

wish me luck in getting up and getting to work on time without aid of cab tomorrow!
